Cajun Pictures was set up in 2010 by Claire Russell, BAFTA Award Winning writer Jimmy Gardner and Nigel Britten. Tragically, Jimmy died in December 2010 aged 53, but Claire and Nigel resolved to continue, working on Jimmy’s unproduced scripts and new projects with other writers.
Cajun is committed to producing quality drama for television and film in a collegiate environment, supporting the writer’s voice and encouraging their creative involvement. Cajun has worked to develop key relationships with other independent production companies on a project by project basis.
Cajun currently have principal relationships with Company Pictures and World Productions. Key to Cajun’s DNA is a desire only to work on projects we truly believe in and would want to watch ourselves!
